My name is Wei Seng Hee. I am from Malaysia. I speak Cantonese, Madarin and Malay. I have been in the United states for around 10 years. Shortly after I came to New York City, some of my firends told me that I needed to take a class to learn English. So I took a class to improve my English. I worked very hard at my English. three years later, I took the citizenship test and passed it. That's how I am a US citizen now.

I work in a auto-repair shop in Manhattan as a mechanic. I work 5 days a week, 8 hours a day. Sometimes I have to work overtime when we have too many customers to handle. I used to work more hours every day. But then one day I broke my lower back after I accidentally fell off the stairs while trying to stacking all the spare tires on each other. My boss didn't buy us insurance, so I had financial difficulty paying my medical bills. I talked to my boss and asked him to buy me insrance, but he wouldn't listen. This is so unfair for me since I broke my back while working for him. According to the American law, every employer are supposed to buy insurance for very emplyee. My boss is violating the law by refusing to buy me insurance.

Many of my friends urged me to sue my boss to get the compensation I deserve. I was too shy to do that before, But now I have realized that as an employee, I am entitled to my healthcare coverage and other compensation. thus I have decided to sue my boss and fight for my rights.

Wish me luck!
